Out of necessity our soap bars started as a push away from off the shelf, chemical detergent bars with crazy ingredients that failed our families sensitve skin. Many year and many batches later our bars now have "Wait lists" with other families that ditched other bars that no longer serve them! Welcome to the slow side of soap making!

Living on a farm connects is with all the great things nature can provide. One of theose things is creamy, holistically raised goat milk! Used along side no spray, foraged herbal infused oils... and the slow, gentle way I process our soap - creates the difference you can smell and feel!

Quality of life over Quantity...
At our small farm, we do things differently. Our mama goats raise their own babies, nursing naturally until the kids wean themselves over time. We only step in to bottle feed when necessary, and never separate babies early for the sake of milk production. We don’t push our does to overproduce or breed excessively their health and well-being come first. We value their contribution and overall wellbeing.
Much of the milk they make goes directly to their kids, with any extra used in our handmade soaps and lotions. When there’s no surplus, we simply make milk-free soaps or use plant-based alternatives. No stress, no push, just apprecation and honor for the animals that share our space.
Our herd includes multiple generations who live out their lives here, even after their milking years are done and they retire. This little girl "Sunshine" , in the photo, is a 4th generation Nigerian Dwarf, her Mother, Grand Mother and Great Grand Mother all live here on our farm!

What is Jewelweed?
Im glad you asked, its a powerful plant that holds natural anti itch, anti inflammatory and soothing powers! We use this for bug bites, poison ivy and things of that sort. Locally foraged and infused on our farm.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE and STORAGE :
Soap can be used as soap should be... to clean, nourish and pamper. The old " lather, rinse, repeat" applies.
Please store your bars in a well ventilated , dry,dark area away from light, heat and humidity/dampness. As your bar sits, it may show signs of further aging and curing as the bar hardens and excess moisture evaporates. Our bars of soap are unlike mass produces, preservative pumped , chemical conglomerates - our soaps are gentle, simple and have a recipe that has stood the test of time!

Does soap mold? What are the white spots on aged bars?
Great question!
Propoerly made soap is almost impervious to true mold. Proper storage and handling will not only enhance your soap bars, but help them last longer when used. Sometimes a white film appears on soap bars, this is not mild, its called "soda ash" and its harmless! It wont harm your soap or your skin! The petina it gives soap is something that many people enjoy! It gives a "old world" look to bars waiting to be used.
So, if your soap is waiting in line to be used and is showing a hazy white speckle... chances are high - Its just harmless soda ash.

What if I don't like your soap?
Well we are sorry to hear that, we have yet to have a customer dislike our soaps , but who knows, it may happen one day?
If for whatever reason your skin disagrees with our soap, please discontinue use immediately.
Rinse with additional water and ... let us know.
